    Abstract: A brush system for an electric drive unit has a base to which brush system elements are fastened. Strip conductors via which required electrical connections are established are also provided on the base. Furthermore, a flat resistor that is disposed in a resistor housing is inserted into the brush system . The resistor housing is made of a thermally conductive material while being provided with air passage holes.
