  • Publication number: 20240074982
Abstract: The invention describes particles having a polypeptide shell. The polypeptide shell comprises at least one immunomodulatory polypeptide. Particles may be ultrasound-responsive particles, providing the ability to administer particles trandermally, or deliver particles to selected sites by use of ultrasound. Administration of the particles generates immunologic response to the polypeptide in the shell of the particle. The particles are therefore useful in methods of immunotherapy.

  • Patent number: 7649282
Abstract: A wind park with a plurality of wind energy plants, which each have one plant control, which presets a desired value for the active power to its wind energy plant, and with a park control, which presets a desired value for the active power to be generated for each plant control and limits the active power fed by the wind park to a preset value, by shutting down a first group of wind energy plants and presetting a desired value for the active power to a second group of wind energy plants at a time, characterised in that the park control starts the wind energy plants of the first group again when the sum of the actual values of the active power of the wind energy plants of the second group has reached the preset desired value and/or a predetermined time duration has elapsed.

  • Patent number: 7231282
Abstract: A method for a functional test of a wind turbine generator plant which comprises the following procedural steps: a control unit for the wind turbine generator plant reads in actual values from at least one structural part of the wind turbine generator plant and generates control signals for actuators of the wind turbine generator plant, a simulation unit has at least one input and at least one output as well as one or more mathematical models which depict the behaviour of one or more structural parts of the wind turbine generator plant, the control signals are applied to the input of the simulation unit and the modeled actual values of the models on the structural parts are applied to the output of the simulation unit, wherein the actual values of the simulation unit are applied to the input of the control unit and the control signals of the control unit are applied to the input of the simulation unit; the simulation unit models the actual values of the structural parts resulting for the control signals appli

  • Patent number: 4794999
Abstract: A wheelchair is adjustable between a compact configuration, in which the center of gravity lies in a vertical plane (50), which intersects wheels (16,116) on a front carrier of the wheelchair and an extended configuration in which the center of gravity lies in a vertical plane spaced substantially from all wheels of the wheelchair.

  • Patent number: 4645222
Abstract: A wheelchair capable of climbing a flight of steps has a cluster of rear wheels rotatably mounted on a member (19) which can pivot on a body (10) of the chair to move the rear wheels upwardly and downwardly and thereby compensate for differences in the levels of the surfaces on which the rear wheels and front wheels of the chair rest. The member (19) is pivoted automatically in accordance with differences between the rotation of front and rear drive elements.

  • Patent number: 4581508
Abstract: An improved horn button contact assembly formed with downwardly-protruding tabs is held by an electrically non-conducting and resilient spider such that the downwardly protruding tabs make contact with the steering wheel, which acts as the circuit ground, and closes the circuit, thereby activating the horn.
