Abstract: Various embodiments of apparatus, systems and/or methods are described for generating metadata utilized by a DVR to filter content from a video stream. A video stream is reviewed to identify portions the video stream to skip during presentation of the video stream. Text data associated with the video stream is parsed to identify a string in the text data that identifies boundaries of the portions of the video stream that are to be skipped during presentation by the DVR. The string is provided to the DVR, and the DVR utilizes the string to skip the portion of the video stream during presentation of the video stream by the DVR.

Abstract: The invention relates in general to clock recovery in a communications network, and in particular to clock recovery in a packet based communications network. Methods and apparatus are disclosed for determining a client timing signal 64, 70 for at least one client device 18, 20, 22, 54, 56, 92, 94, 96 at a master device 24, 58, 98. The client timing signal is compared 126 with a reference timing signal 76 of the master device. A timing difference value 36 is then determined 128 between the client timing signal and the reference timing signal. An Ethernet network element receives the Ethernet format information. The SDH network element can request the status of the Ethernet network element when the SDH network element is required to update the SDH network management system with status information on the functionality of the SDH network element and the Ethernet network element.

Abstract: Provided is a process for producing a product enriched in theaflavins. The process comprises contacting a first and a second material to form a reaction mixture with a specific weight ratio of catechins to theaflavins, fermenting the reaction mixture, and then recovering the product from the reaction mixture. The process is particularly suitable for producing leaf tea products with high levels of theaflavins.

To bring about such dispensing of additives, a lidded housing structure is placed within the drum of an automatic washing machine, an insert, containing one or more laundry additives in each compartment, is placed within the lidded housing structure, the lid is closed and the machine is run through the several stages of its laundering cycle. Selectively actuatable puncturing element are provided to optionally open at least one compartment of the insert upon closing of the housing structure lid, thereby dispensing the contents of that opened compartment into the washing machine drum as wash additive materials and/or to open one or more compartments of the insert later in the laundering cycle to dispense contents of those compartments into the washing machine drum as rinse additive materials.

Abstract: A chlorothalonil slurry product having greater than 90% by weight of the chlorothalonil present in discrete particles having a diameter less than 1 micron, more preferably less than 0.3 microns, is useful at reduced application rates, compared to prior art chlorothalonil formulations, to control a variety of diseases such as sapstain on wood, neck rot on onions, late blight on potatos, and downey mildew on fruits and vegetables.
