  • Publication number: 20220242010
Abstract: Provided is a method of processing a plastic, the method comprising introducing a plastic slurry having particles with a particle size of less than 20 mm into a macerator, the macerator comprising an inlet configured to receive a flow of plastic slurry, an outlet, three or more concentric bodies that rotate relative to each other, each body comprising a plurality of apertures to define a flow path through each body, wherein the plastic slurry traverses the flow path from the inlet to the outlet via the at least one aperture of each body to produce an outlet plastic slurry. Also provided are systems for processing plastic, comprising the macerator. Also provided are methods of manufacturing a composite wood product that comprises plastic particles.

  • Patent number: 10314616
Abstract: The present invention relates to egg chambers for use in collection, inspection and selection of eggs for in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures. The egg chamber, in use, provides an effectively closed and fluid filled system which minimizes the environmental changes that a harvested egg is exposed to, thus maximizing viability. The egg chamber comprises a vessel which can be made airtight, comprising at least one side wall, an upper wall and a lower wall, at least a portion of the upper wall being transparent and at least a portion of the lower wall being light permeable; a first inlet with a sealable port; a first outlet with a sealable port; a filter with a pore size appropriate for egg collection disposed within the vessel between the first inlet and the first outlet and configured to separate the vessel into a first internal chamber and a second internal chamber.

  • Publication number: 20180276744
Abstract: Systems for controlling processing of an event are provided. A system may receive a request to initiate an event and the request may cause activation of access and process control functions of the systems. The system may receive event details and requirements may be extracted from the event details. The requirements may include data and/or document requirements necessary to process the event to completion. The event details may be compared to the extracted requirements to determine whether one or more requirements are met. If so, the event may be processed. If not, processing of the event may be suspended and the event may be transmitted to a computing device to prevent further processing of the event. Additional information may be received and evaluated to determine whether the requirements are met. If so, the system may transmit an instruction to the computing device to release the event for further processing.

  • Patent number: 7328295
Abstract: An interrupt controller and interrupt controlling method are provided for prioritizing interrupt requests generated by a plurality of interrupt sources. The interrupt controller comprises an interrupt source interface operable to receive interrupt requests generated by a first plurality of interrupt sources, and a daisy chain interface operable to receive a daisy chain interrupt request output by a further interrupt controller based on a second plurality of interrupt requests generated by a second plurality of interrupt sources. The daisy chain interface includes a priority input operable to receive a daisy chain priority signal indicating a priority associated with the daisy chain interrupt request. Prioritization logic is operable to receive the daisy chain priority signal and to apply predetermined prioritisation criteria to determine the highest priority interrupt request selected from the daisy chain interrupt request and the interrupt request generated by the first plurality of interrupt sources.
