  • Patent number: 11143168
Abstract: Disclosed is a rotor blade inspection device having a maintenance chamber through which a rotor blade can pass vertically, wherein the floor opening and a roof opening, through which the rotor blade can pass, are arranged in the chamber floor and in the chamber roof of the maintenance chamber, characterized in that the maintenance chamber is arranged on a supporting frame, and in that the bracing frame can be supported on a tower of a wind turbine, and in that the chamber floor and the chamber roof of the maintenance chamber are respectively designed as a diaphragm system in order to minimize a gap between the floor opening or roof opening and the rotor blade.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 14, 2017
Date of Patent: October 12, 2021
    Assignee: WP SYSTEMS GMBH

  • Patent number: 6934880
Abstract: A system and method for a failover system where in case of a failure of an element within the system, only that element is shutdown, rather then shutting down an entire node. The solution is of particular use in network systems, networked storage systems as well as location independent file systems.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20030126191
Abstract: A system and method are provided for distributing information between processes executing on a computer node and across clusters of computer nodes. The system also provides for querying the system database to request historical system information. A process can receive specific information by registering in the system database under a category that represents the desired type of system information.

  • Publication number: 20030126247
Abstract: A method and system are provided for file system backup using multiple backup devices in parallel. The system stores files across the backup devices, by first copying small files of sizes below a calculated threshold size, and then splitting into segments those files that are larger then the calculated threshold size. For each file segment, the system affixes a unique segment header. At restore time, a restore program starts the restore from the first file segment and follows to the next file segment according to information specified in the file segment header.

  • Publication number: 20030095501
Abstract: A system and method for load balancing between redundant elements in a system is provided. By using redundant elements overall performance of the system is improved without losing the capability to recover or continue operation upon failure of an element within the system. The solution is of particular use in network systems, networked storage systems as well as location independent file systems.
