  • Publication number: 20120263785
Abstract: A composition comprising a high purity cannabinoid, an acid, and a pharmaceutically-acceptable solvent achieves room temperature stability for over 24 months. The acid improves the stability of the composition and the solvent enhances the solubility of the acid, thereby allowing the acid to have an improved stabilizing effect on the highly pure cannabinoid. Preferably, the solvent is an alcohol and, more preferably, the composition contains an oil. A method for making the composition includes combining the cannabinoid and the solvent and evaporating a portion of the solvent, along with adding an acid to the composition, before, during, or after the evaporating step. A method for making and storing the composition includes storing the composition in a manner adapted to maintain its stability. Pharmaceutical dosage forms include a formulated composition, such as having the oil. A method of treating a subject comprises administering to the subject the dosage form.

  • Patent number: 7967195
Abstract: A network arrangement is provided for processing credit transactions. A financial network is used to route communications securely between interfaces with the financial network. Merchant systems are coupled with the interfaces, with each merchant system transmitting requests for authorization of credit transactions through the financial network. An issuer system authorizes credit transactions in response to receipt of requests that specify at least a credit account to be used to support a particular credit transaction and a transaction amount for the particular credit transaction. A guarantor system separate from the issuer system determines whether to guarantee credit transactions in response to the requests and transmits responses indicating whether specific credit transactions are to be guaranteed through the financial network to the merchant systems.

  • Publication number: 20070118330
Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided to analyze a dual wall structure having at least one hollow core therein and having the same unknown material sound velocities in walls and in post as well. A transducer is located in at least two different positions with respect to the structure, whereby the transducer propagates an ultrasonic wave toward the dual wall structure. A portion of the ultrasonic wave is reflected back to the transducer. One wave traverses a portion of the dual wall structure that has a core filled with a medium having a known material acoustic property. A second wave traverses a portion of the post that has an unknown material sound velocity. From time of flight measurements of the above mentioned waves, the wall thickness and core shift, if any, can be determined.

  • Publication number: 20050086239
Abstract: A customized and configurable analysis system is disclosed for analyzing data captured from a wide variety of different sources, such as an asset management application. Regardless of the particular embodiment, the analysis system provides users with the ability to modify and customize the underlying data design to enhance the analytical functionality of the analysis system. The modification of the data design occurs through the use of various templates that are part of the user interface for the analysis system. Thus, persons without specialized database and data architect expertise can modify underlying data design in a timely and inexpensive manner.

  • Patent number: 6030122
Abstract: A reclosable package for a consumer product includes a zipper strip having male and female interlocking profiles. The former has a male interlocking member having a cross section in the shape of an asymmetric arrowhead. The latter has a female interlocking member in the form of two mutually curving members defining a channel therebetween. The male interlocking member is snappingly engaged into the channel to reclose the package. The asymmetric male interlocking member has an acute edge outward of the interior of the package, and a rounded edge facing the inside of the package. This asymmetry makes the package easier to open from within than from without.
