  • Patent number: 9513936
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of and system for dynamically loading an executable composite software application, for use on a user device. An enterprise universe including multiple application modules is maintained, with each application module being configured to perform a particular functionality within the software application. This universe is filtered in terms of a particular environment definition to result in an environment subset of application modules, wherein the environment definition defines criteria according to which application modules exist in the environment. In response to receiving a container launch request from a user device, one or more application modules from the environment subset is launched as the executable composite software application on the user device through a container module associated with the user device.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method of and system for dynamically loading an executable composite software application, for use on a user device (12; 14). An enterprise universe including multiple application modules (30) is maintained, with each application module being configured to perform a particular functionality within the software application. This universe is filtered in terms of a particular environment definition to result in an environment subset of application modules, wherein the environment definition defines criteria according to which application modules exist in the environment. In response to receiving a container launch request from a user device, one or more application modules from the environment subset is launched as the executable composite software application on the user device through a container module (28) associated with the user device.

  • Publication number: 20150278811
Abstract: A method of operating a matching server for facilitating authorization of payment for a transaction between a customer and a merchant at a point of sale is described. The method includes receiving a merchant match request from a merchant bank server, receiving a customer match request from a customer bank server, and performing a matching operation to determine whether the transaction information included in the merchant match request and the transaction information included in the customer match request satisfy a transaction authorization criteria. If the transaction authorization criteria is satisfied payment for the transaction is deemed to be authorized, and a merchant bank confirmation confirming authorization of the payment for the transaction is communicated to one or both of the merchant bank server and the merchant apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20070052795
Abstract: A method and system are provided for non-contact evaluation of a machined surface of a cast-metal part, including a vision-based porosity inspection station. A digital image of the machined surface is acquired, oriented and scaled to an XY coordinate system, filtered, and inverted. A second image is generated with known design surface features eliminated. Each pixel of the inverted digital image is XOR-compared with a corresponding pixel of the second image. Identified common surface features common to both images is analyzed statistically for conformance to a threshold. A defect is identified as any identified surface feature common to both images which exceeds the threshold. The system moves the part for further processing if a statistical analysis of defects indicates an acceptable component, and alternatively, removes the part from further processing if the analysis indicates a flawed component.

  • Publication number: 20020020942
Abstract: A pair of form keys and a method for forming reverse drafts in foam parts are disclosed. A male form key is reciprocally mounted in a first mold half in a retracted position. A female form key is rotatably mounted in a second mold half in a neutral position. The first mold half includes a first drive pin that when engaged, moves the male form key into engagement with a foam sheet to form an undercut as the first and second mold halves are closed. The first mold half also includes a second drive pin that engages the female form key as the first and second mold halves close rotating the female form key into engagement with the foam sheet and the male form key. After closure of the mold and the product is formed, the mold is opened. As this occurs, the drive pins are disengaged and the male form key retracts and the female form key rotates to their neutral positions. The formed product may then be stripped from the mold while maintaining the reverse draft or undercut.
