  • Publication number: 20070000705
Abstract: A radiator module for commercial motor vehicles, in particular for agricultural tractors, has a support plate (7) fixed to the chassis and at least one coolant radiator (10) fixed to the support plate. The radiator has a radiator block (17) and two coolant tanks (19, 20) oriented at opposite ends of the block with one tank (20) adjacent the support plate (7) and one (19) spaced away form the support plate. In order to increase the cooling performance of the radiator module (6) despite keeping the installation space above the support plate (7) constant it is proposed that the coolant tank near the plate (20) is constructed from two mutually complementing tank parts (26, 28). The first tank part (26) is assigned to the radiator block (17) and has an encircling flange (25) for pressure sealed attachment of the coolant radiator (10) on the support plate (7). A second tank part (28) is assigned to the support plate (7).

  • Patent number: 6298939
Abstract: A system operated by what is referred to as a clutch pedal, which adjusts the traction power of an infinitely variable, hydrostatic-mechanical transmission. The transmission contains at least one pump (1) and at least one motor (2), arranged in a hydraulic circuit. In order to reduce the traction power, pressure is leaked between the two sides of the motor (2) by reducing the pressure at the control parts (14a) of two proportional valves (14, 15) in respective lines bridging the motor (2). The control parts (14a) of the proportional valves (14, 15) are connected via a shift valve (19) to an intermediate valve (24), the closing force of which is reduced as the clutch pedal (26) is opened by means of a closing spring (36).

  • Patent number: 6117016
Abstract: A transmission coupling assembly for absorbing axial and/or angular displacement between an internal combustion engine and a downstream gear train comprises a resilient vibration damper (3;24) secured to the flywheel (1;26). A coupling member (4;23) secured to the vibration damper is rotationally coupled to a coupling shaft (7;21) by means of interlocking splines, the splines (4a) of the coupling member being substantially straight and the splines (5a) of the coupling shaft being crowned or spherically curved. At the other end of the coupling shaft (7;21) a similar splined connection is made to the input shaft (8) of the downstream gear train. Lubrication is provided at the splined connection between the coupling shaft and the input shaft of the gear train, with a Z-cross section seal extending between the coupling shaft and the gearbox casing to prevent leakage of lubricant fluid.

  • Patent number: 5345839
Abstract: In order to maintain the sound emission of a vehicle drive with a hydrostatic drive system within tolerable limits, a hydrostatic drive is supported with respect to a gear box by way of structure-borne noise damping components seated in axial drillings or bores of a larger diameter in the gearbox into which the hydrostatic drive is axially inserted with correspondingly larger cylindrical bearing surfaces. The hydrostatic drive is insertable by way of a closable aperture in the gearbox and is supported in an operative position by rods arranged obliquely to the drive shaft and output shaft of the hydrostatic drive, with the rods being supported at respective ends by way of structure-borne noise damping components inserted in through holes in the gearbox and firmly secured to the casing of the hydrostatic drive.
