  • Patent number: 10206713
Abstract: A bone fixation device that includes a rail body housing that has a top portion, a bottom portion, a first end portion, a second end portion, and a rail channel extending along a longitudinal axis of the rail body housing. The rail channel is defined between the top portion, the bottom portion, the first end portion, and the second end portion. The movable clamp assembly is movably coupled to the rail body housing within the rail channel and the position of the movable clamp assembly within the rail channel is adjustable. The movable clamp assembly also includes at least one semi-spherical collet defining a central channel configured to receive a bone fastener and orient the bone fastener in any of a plurality of orientations with respect to the rail body housing.

  • Patent number: 9539030
Abstract: A multi-axis adjustable splint for treating the fracture of bones includes a rail body that has a longitudinal axis. The splint further includes a fixed clamp assembly coupled to the rail body for securing at least one first bone screw in a first desired orientation. The fixed clamp assembly is translationally fixed relative to the rail body. The adjustable splint further includes a movable clamp assembly movably coupled to the rail body for securing at least one second bone screw in a second desired orientation. The movable clamp assembly is translatable along the longitudinal axis of the rail body. Both the fixed clamp assembly and the movable clamp assembly are each independently adjustable about three axes of rotation relative to the rail body.

  • Patent number: 4763434
Abstract: A fishing pole having a tubular rod with a handgrip attached to its rearward end. A pump assembly is mounted in said handgrip and its inlet port is connected to a container formed within the handgrip that is filled with liquid fish scent. The output end of the pump assembly is connected to an output tube that passes through the interior of the tubular rod and which ends adjacent the forward end of the tubular rod. By actuating a trigger finger connected to the pump assembly, the liquid fish scent is pumped through the output tube and exits from its forward end in droplets of fluid that drip down onto a fishing line running through an eyelet tip that is positioned at the end of the tubular rod. The liquid fish scent in its droplet form will travel down the downwardly extending fishing line and apply itself to the hook and the bait which is attached thereto. Periodically while fishing, the fisherman can actuate the trigger finger a few times prior to casting to rewet the hook and bait.
