Publication number: 20230408027Abstract: An apparatus comprising a wall frame and an application frame. The application frame is movable with respect to the wall frame. The apparatus includes a first spring system and a second spring system, which two spring systems are each coupled with the wall frame and the application frame to apply forces on the application frame. The first spring system has its opposite ends connected to the wall frame and the application frame respectively. The second spring system is at a first end connected to the wall frame and the second spring system is at a second end distant from the first end connected to an adjusting device which is coupled with the application frame. The adjusting device is arranged to vary an extension of the second spring system when the application frame moves with respect to the wall frame. The adjusting device includes a single trajectory profile element, and only a first arm and a second arm that are connected to each other at a first hinge.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 14, 2023Publication date: December 21, 2023Inventors: Paul August Marie Lindelauf, Hendricus Tadeusz Wojcik, Robert Hubert Marcel Schmetz, Thijs Jeurissen

Patent number: 9970726Abstract: A removable manual and tactical safety device (1) for a hammerless or linear striker fired firearm, comprising a cylindrical body (2) having a longitudinal recess (3), a first lever (4) and a second lever (5) being secured together according to the axis of said longitudinal recess (3), said cylindrical body (2) having a transverse housing (9) for lodging a push pin (10) comprising a cogwheel having at least two cut cogs (14A) defining at least a first position and a second position of the push pin (10) respectively, said first lever (4) having a body (6) provided on its external surface with at least two pinions teeth (14B) capable of cooperating with the cut cogs (14A), so that the rotating of the first lever (4) secured with the second lever (5) permits the displacement of the push pin (10) perpendicularly to the axis of the longitudinal recess (3), said push pin (10) being held in said first and second position respectively by a spring (11) cooperating with a pin (12) located in a longitudinal cavity (13)Type: GrantFiled: April 18, 2017Date of Patent: May 15, 2018Assignee: R.D.I.H. Patent number: 8777226Abstract: A proxy target system provides, in the exemplary embodiment, a plurality of cover barriers and proxy barriers. Each cover barrier is sized and configured for allowing at least one shooter to selectively take cover therebehind. Each proxy barrier is associated with a corresponding one of the cover barriers. Each of the cover barriers provides a means for tracking the associated shooter when positioned therebehind. Relatedly, each of the proxy barriers provides an at least one target positioned therebehind and configured for mimicking the movement and exposure of the shooter relative to the associated cover barrier. Thus, with the proxy barriers positioned a distance downrange from the corresponding cover barriers, two or more shooters may position themselves behind respective cover barriers and engage in a shootout with one another by shooting at each other's downrange targets rather than directly at one another, thereby eliminating any risk of injury or death.Type: GrantFiled: January 8, 2013Date of Patent: July 15, 2014Inventor: Robert Hubert Decker, Jr.

Publication number: 20130219933Abstract: An evaporative cooling apparatus includes a liquid reservoir and a pump coupled to the liquid reservoir. The pump includes a pressure output that applies a static pressure against the liquid stored in the liquid reservoir. The applied pressure forces liquid through a liquid supply line to a nozzle unit, and the liquid is ejected into a stream of forced air from a fan for evaporative cooling applications. The pressure output is also in fluid communication with the nozzle unit via a gas supply line extending between the pressure output and the nozzle unit for delivering gas into the nozzle unit. The gas delivered to the nozzle unit interacts with the liquid inside the nozzle unit to generate the atomized spray of liquid droplets.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 23, 2012Publication date: August 29, 2013Inventors: Robert Hubert, Rafael Rodriguez, Jeffrey Badovick

Patent number: 8169317Abstract: Automatically operating a door system is controlled by an affirmative action of a patron. An occupancy status of an inside area is provided to the patron approaching the door from an outside area. The patron is directed to request the door be opened in response to an unoccupied status. A presence of the patron in the inside area is sensed and the door automatically closed, and optionally locked. One actuator is set to an in use status indicating use of the inside area by the patron. A door ready for opening status is provided to the patron. With an affirmative action with a second actuator by the patron desiring to open the door and exit the inside area, the door is unlocked and opened. Sensing an absence of the patron within the inside area, the door is automatically closed, and first actuator reset to the ready state.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 2010Date of Patent: May 1, 2012Inventors: L. Gale Lemerand, Robert Hubert

Publication number: 20050110213Abstract: The invention is a combined card, dice, and peg board game which 3 to 6 players can play. It consists of one peg board with two start/finish lines, two separate start/finish areas, and four pegging tracks within the outline of the game's name. On each pegging track are a plurality of “donut!” circles separated from each other by the same number of peg holes. Equipment for the game includes a deck of 52 cards of 4 aces through 4 duces, one pair of dice, six pairs of different coloured pegs, one rule booklet, and a pad of game tracking sheets. As players accumulate tricks, make their bid, and land on “donut!” circles, they peg points towards the finish. The first player to cross the designated finish line wins the game. The invention is a fun game of bidding strategy and surprise.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 17, 2004Publication date: May 26, 2005Inventor: Robert Hubert

Patent number: 6739324Abstract: An automatic functioning device for distributing compressed gas comprises a jack and a distributor. The device successively and automatically carries out the following operations, after the piston has been initially hit on its rear end by a hammer: forward piston displacement, compressed gas intake into the chamber and pressurization of the latter; recoil of the piston to the rear, escape of compressed gas contained in the chamber and depressurization of the latter; return of the piston to the front, closing of the compressed gas intake, escape to the front of the remaining compressed gas contained in the chamber and return of the device to its initial position.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 2002Date of Patent: May 25, 2004Assignee: RDIHInventors: Leon Hubert, Robert Hubert
