    Abstract: A method and device are provided for storing names for nonpublished numbers on a telephone bill. A telephone bill is displayed that includes published numbers and nonpublished numbers. For each nonpublished number, an option is provided to associate names to the nonpublished numbers. An associated name is received to correspond to a corresponding nonpublished number. The associated name is mapped to the corresponding nonpublished number in a mapping table, such that when the corresponding nonpublished number is displayed on the telephone bill the associated name is displayed. The associated name and the corresponding nonpublished number are stored in the mapping table.
