  • Publication number: 20240155314
Abstract: Systems and methods in accordance with embodiments of the invention can proactively determine if an individual is likely in need of roadside assistance. Information can be collected from the individual's phone, including the person's location, the type of road, ambient noise, and/or motion of nearby objects. If it is determined that the individual likely needs roadside assistance, the system can proactively contact the individual to see if roadside assistance is desired, and if so, initiates roadside assistance. The system also can provide helpful information, such as safety information, and/or automatically contact other individuals to alert them of the roadside event and the location of the individual.

  • Publication number: 20240141541
Abstract: An apparatus for electroplating a metal on a semiconductor substrate with high control over plated thickness on a die-level includes an ionically resistive ionically permeable element (e.g., a plate with channels), where the element allows for flow of ionic current through the element towards the substrate during electroplating, where the element includes a plurality of regions, each region having a pattern of varied local resistance, and where the pattern of varied local resistance repeats in at least two regions. An electroplating method includes providing a semiconductor substrate to an electroplating apparatus having an ionically resistive ionically permeable element or a grid-like shield having a pattern correlating with a pattern of features on the substrate, and plating metal, while the pattern on the substrate remains spatially aligned with the pattern of the element or the grid-like shield for at least a portion of the total electroplating time.

  • Publication number: 20240141842
Abstract: A method for controlling a dual fuel engine system includes determining a gas flow target for an internal combustion engine of the dual fuel engine system, where the gas flow target is based on a gas power target of the internal combustion engine, a thermal efficiency estimate of the internal combustion engine, and a lower heating value (LHV) within the internal combustion engine. The method also includes adjusting the gas flow target based on at least one of a measured gas temperature or a measured gas injector pressure and determining at least one base gas injector command based on the adjusted gas flow target, a gas substitution rate estimate, and a gas substitution rate target. The method further includes determining, based on the at least one base gas injector command, a gas injector command for at least one engine bank.

Abstract: A method for controlling a dual fuel engine system includes determining a friction power loss amount of an internal combustion engine of the dual fuel engine system, where the friction power loss amount is based on an engine speed of the internal combustion engine and a friction torque estimate. The method also includes determining an accessory power loss amount of a power of the internal combustion engine, where the accessory power loss amount is based on the engine speed and an accessory torque estimate. The method further includes estimating a net engine power amount based on the accessory power loss amount and a brake power amount of the internal combustion engine, estimating an indicated diesel power, and estimating, based on the estimated net engine power, a first indicated engine power and a first gas power.

  • Patent number: 11526820
Abstract: The present disclosure facilitates interfacing between a sales management system and a project planning system. In some embodiments, the system includes an interface and schedule engine, both executing on a server. The interface can parse a sales order from the sales management system into products and project tasks within the products. The products can also include at least one of a labor product, a parts product, and an agreements product. The schedule engine can generate schedule tasks corresponding to the project tasks, determine a performance order of the schedule tasks, and combine the schedule tasks into schedule phases based on the performance order. The schedule engine can determine a performance order of the schedule phases and combine the schedule phases into a schedule component based on the performance order. The interface can transmit the schedule component to the project planning system for execution.
