    Abstract: A pneumatic transfer apparatus (10) includes a service provider terminal (22) and a customer terminal (24). A carrier (32) is moved through a transfer conduit (26) between the customer and service provider terminals by a differential pressure generating mechanism (28, 30). Each of the customer and service provider terminals includes an actuator mechanism (54, 82). The actuator mechanism is operative to orient an opening in the housing of the carrier with a transfer opening in the transfer conduit. The actuator mechanism is further operative to move an inner shell (100) relative to an outer shell (96) of the carrier so as to bring openings in said inner and outer shells into alignment which enables accessing the interior area of the carrier.

    Abstract: A blower assembly for a pneumatic transfer tube system alternately creates a pressure or a vacuum in a transfer tube. The blower is comprised of a housing having an internal cavity and a first and a second external port communicating with the cavity. A movable plate divides the internal cavity into two chambers which are generally isolated from each other. A blower having a vacuum end and a pressure end is mounted to the plate, wherein the vacuum end is on one side of the plate and the pressure end is on the other side of the plate. The blower when operating creates a pressure chamber on one side of the plate and a vacuum chamber on the other side of the plate.

    Abstract: A sealing plate, divided into a first upper section and a second lower section, the sealing plate having a bore therethrough slightly larger than the diameter of the casing around the internal pipe. There is further provided a attachment members on the wall of the upper and lower sections of the plate, for attaching the sections of the plate and allowing the sections of the plate to be drawn together around the casing by the attachment members. Further, there is provided a sealing gasket that spaced between the internal edge of the bore of the plates and the outer wall of the casing, so that as a plate member is attached, there is effected a fluid seal between the outer wall of the carrier pipe and the plate members through the sealing of the gasket member.

    Abstract: A two cylinder, two cycle engine for an outboard motor includes an alternator driven, capacitor discharge ignition system. The alternator includes an annular permanent magnet secured within a flywheel skirt and includes a pair of circumferential opposite poles with diametrical spaced neutral areas. The magnet is a flexible ferrite strip with a butt joint at one of the neutral areas. A stator assembly is mounted within the annular rotor and includes a semicircular core with a charging coil at each end. Each movement of the magnetic gap means past the coils generates a pulse. A trigger coil within a housing is mounted in coplanar relation between the charging coils, with a pole aligned with and spaced from the stator core. The housing is rotatably mounted and includes an integral cam for positioning a throttle lever.
