  • Publication number: 20220113128
Abstract: A coke drum measurement system includes a first target coupled to an upper aspect of a coke drum and a second target arranged generally perpendicular to the first target. A first optical measurement device is arranged to visualize the first target and measure a distance between the first optical measurement device and the first target. A second optical measurement device is arranged to visualize the second target and measure a distance between the second optical measurement device and the second target. A processor is electrically coupled to the first optical measurement device and the second optical measurement device. The processor receives signals from the first optical measurement device and the second optical measurement device corresponding to movement of the coke drum. The processor aggregates signals received from the first optical measurement device and the second optical measurement device to determine a total movement of the coke drum.

  • Patent number: 10626647
Abstract: A universal sliding door system that is configured to facilitate installation in either a slide right to open (SRO) orientation or a slide left to open (SLO) orientation. In some embodiments, a track is attached to a header by a pivot connector that allows the track to be pivoted up or down so that the track can be easily oriented at an appropriate angle for the desired opening orientation. The header and track may also each include a first set of openings configured to allow the track to be easily installed in a SRO orientation and a second set of openings configured to allow the track to be easily installed in a SLO orientation. Other components of the door system, such as the door and the vertical casing members may also include features configured to allow the components to easily be installed in either opening orientation.

  • Publication number: 20130018587
Abstract: A system and method for detecting hydrocarbon deposits includes a sensor that can measure radiation emanating from an earth surface within an area of interest and separate the measured radiation into component signals, each having a particular characteristic associated with the presence of hydrocarbon deposits. The system also includes a processor that can receive the component signals from the sensor, determine a difference between the component signals and a baseline radiation for the area of interest, and display data showing a likelihood of the presence of hydrocarbon deposits in locations within the area of interest based on the difference between the measured radiation and the baseline radiation. • Patent number: 7526894
Abstract: A door can comprise first and second panel sections for mounting to a doorframe for pivoting about an upright door pivot axis. A hinge for coupling the door to the door frame can comprise a spine with an elongated passageway comprising first and second hinge receiving pocket portions. First and second cam members and a biasing spring can be mounted within the hinge receiving pocket portions of the elongated passageway. Upon pivoting of the door about the pivot axis to an open position, the first and second cam members are pivoted relative to one another to create a gap therebetween with the biasing spring urging the first cam member toward the second cam member to urge the door closed following pivoting of the door to the open position.
