Abstract: There is described a teaching device for use in learning the game of Blackjack. The unit has logic circuitry therein which is implemented according to certain logical formats enabling a user to play the game correctly based upon understanding the odds and chances he is subjected to during actual play.A memory stores a plurality of hands which are randomly selected and which based upon the user's hand, as displayed, determine a preferred course of action. If the user makes a decision contrary to a most desired approach, the device will indicate this condition. Similarly, if the user's decision is correct, this will also be displayed or verified by the device.
