  • Patent number: 11946518
Abstract: A torque barrel for use with a brake system may comprise a torque barrel having a cylindrical structure including an inner surface, an outer surface, a first opening at a first end, and a second opening at an opposing second end; and a longitudinal hole disposed through the outer surface of the barrel between a first spline of the plurality of splines and a second spline of the plurality of splines.

  • Patent number: 4579400
Abstract: A locker whose basic enclosure, and also its frame, are essentially formed from five sheet metal members. The sheet metal members form the sides, back, top and bottom of the locker. Certain of the sheet metal members (particularly the side and top members) also have respective portions of the frame integrally formed therewith. The frame portions, when interconnected, form the support frame for the locker and also join the sides, back, top and bottom members together to complete the locker's enclosure. The frame portions also define part of the front side of the locker, and form a door opening in the locker. A locker door is pivotally movable relative to the door opening to control access to the locker's interior. The top and bottom sheet metal members are structurally identical to each other, so that only a single type of forming operation is required to form both sheet metal members.

  • Patent number: 4447099
Abstract: A light weight locker construction is disclosed for use in a bedroom or like area of a home and which simulates lockers used in locker rooms of stadiums or the like in connection with professional sports. The locker body is adapted to be assembled from prefabricated light gauge sheet metal panels and frame components, and locker doors are structured to provide a desired similarity in appearance with respect to professional lockers while promoting a light weight, economical construction necessary for acceptance of the locker for home use. Additionally, a unique hinge assembly is provided for certain of the door constructions.

  • Patent number: 4214650
Abstract: A brake adjuster for implementation between the brake housing and pressure plate of a brake disk stack. A casing is fixedly secured to the brake housing and receives therein a spring follower. Maintained within the spring follower and engaged at one end thereof is a tubular member. Passing through the tubular member and through the casing is a shaft, the shaft being fixedly secured to the pressure plate at a first end thereof and maintaining a multi-sided broach on the other end thereof. The broach is of such geometry as to make contacting engagement with the interior surface of the tube. Upon successive brake applications, the broaching or cutting surfaces of the broach cut portions of the inner wall of the tube, allowing the shaft to telescope from the casing in order to maintain a fixed built-in clearance among the disks of the brake disk stack.

  • Patent number: 4209052
Abstract: A wheel flange retaining ring provided about the circumference of an aircraft wheel to maintain a removable flange thereabout. The invention includes a metallic band having a bulb received within a circumferential groove formed within the wheel frame. The band makes contacting engagement with a surface machined into the flange. The band is caused to form a completed ring maintained within the circumferential groove by a clip having a bent-tab section which makes secured engagement with tongues provided at each end of the band.
