  • Patent number: 5868489
Abstract: An electrical fixture assembly includes three transparent acrylic panels including first and second panels disposed in spaced, parallel relation to one another and each being attached to opposite edges of a third panel extending perpendicularly between the first and second panels to define an I-beam. Vertically extending support rods pivotally attach at one end to brackets on the top of the second panel and to mounting brackets on a ceiling or other overhead structure at an opposite end. Conductors leading from an external power source extend along the support rods, down opposite ends of the I-beam, and interconnect to electrical devices attached on the bottom surface of the first panel to supply electric power thereto.

  • Patent number: 4683648
Abstract: A bipolar electrode for generating electrical power in an electrochemical cell includes a base member, which is comprised of a core portion composed of titanium. An integral, substantially continuous and non-porous layer of lead is electroplated onto at least one face surface of the core portion and diffused a selected distance into the core portion. A substantially continuous, residual layer of the titanium alloy in the core portion remains substantially free of lead. A negative-type active mass is connected to a first face surface of the base member, and a positive-type active mass is connected to a second face surface of the base member.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 2, 1986
Date of Patent: August 4, 1987
    Assignee: Allied Corporation
Inventors: Lun-Shu R. Yeh, Morten Grenness, Robert J. Fuller

  • Patent number: 4216907
Abstract: A hydraulic gun includes a gun body within which a trigger operated valve and a second, pressure operated valve are supplied with water under pressure from a pump. The trigger operated valve is normally open and returns water at a comparatively low pressure to a water reservoir, but when the trigger operated valve is closed, the water pressure opens the second valve, through which water is delivered to a nozzle.
