  • Publication number: 20160037919
Abstract: A secure rack-based storage enclosure for preventing access to telecommunications equipment includes left and right side panels, top and bottom panels, an open back and front, an interior, and a door pivotally mounted to the front. Rear flanges extend between the top and bottom panels proximate to the back of the enclosure, and the rear flanges cooperate with each of the top and bottom panels to define open notches extending into the interior of the enclosure away from and in communication with the open back of the enclosure. Intermediate flanges extend between the top and bottom panels, and are disposed between the rear flanges and the front of the enclosure. A hinge assembly couples the door to the front panel proximate one of the left and right side panels. An elongate member is pivoted to the other of the left and right side panels opposite the hinge assembly.

  • Publication number: 20150080110
Abstract: A system and method for conducting a sports wager tournament, wherein players pay an entry fee and attempt to predict the outcomes of multiple sporting events. Each player receives a sum of tournament play money, and a list of sporting events with pre-established odds for each contestant or team. The players make predictions for projected winners of the sporting events, and assign portions of the play money as wagers to each projected winner. The projected winners for each player are compared to the outcomes of the actual events and assigned credits for winning selections in relation to the pre-established odds that are applicable to each contest, as well as the amount of play money wagered for the specific projected winner. The player who generates the most credits wins either a large portion or all of the pot, which consists of the entry fees paid in by all players.

  • Publication number: 20120178324
Abstract: A dihydroxy end-capped sterically hindered aminated polyorganosiloxane polymer, i.e., a silanol chain stopped polymer is described. Also described, is a process for making such a polymer, where the process includes a two stage reaction of certain cyclic siloxanes with polymethyl piperidinyl siloxanes, wherein the ultimate viscosity of the reaction polymerization product is controlled primarily by the amount of water used in the final stage. Importantly, the polymers when applied to fabric can produce coatings that not only impart enhanced softening, non-yellowing, and hydrophilic properties to the fabric but also serendipitously provide a coating matrix that, when dried and/or cured, can enhance the durability of encapsulated compositions that are present on or within the fabric substrate.

  • Patent number: 4418301
Abstract: A circuit having means responsive to a plurality of electric signals representative, respectively, of the speeds of a plurality of traction motors in a propulsion system for a traction vehicle, wherein the circuit provides a digital output signal having a frequency representative of the average speed of the respective motors.

  • Patent number: 4256983
Abstract: A combination of integrating and logic means in an electrical circuit responds to inputs from a variable analog control signal and from a constant frequency train of digital pulses. The magnitude of the control signal is variable between predetermined low and high extremes. The logic means periodically generates discrete output signals in synchronism with the digital pulses. When the control signal is lower than a predetermined intermediate magnitude, the integrating means is saturated and the logic means is able to produce the output signals at a constant frequency. When the control signal is between its intermediate and high extreme magnitude, the integrator is active and governs the operation of the logic means in such a manner that the average frequency of the output signals varies between its constant magnitude and zero as an inverse linear function of the control signal magnitude.
