  • Patent number: 8800495
Abstract: Cat litter is formed from ground corncob granules, a clumping agent such as guar gum, and an odor control agent such as soyaethyl morpholinium ethosulfate. A water solution of the odor control agent is sprayed onto corncob granules. Thereafter, the clumping agent is slowly mixed in (without forming clumps), and excess water is evaporated off. The odor control agent is applied in a substantially uniform and adherent manner, without materially comprising absorbency or causing significant premature clumping.

  • Patent number: 6482783
Abstract: A foam forming composition contains a freshening agent and a foam-forming anionic surfactant in amount sufficient to form a foam when dispensed from a pressurized vessel, but in an amount insufficient to effect fabric cleaning. The foam provides a visible means for the user to observe the area of application and thus avoids the likelihood of over- or under-spraying. An anti-foaming agent is included in the foam forming composition to provide for a quick breaking and fast drying foam. The freshener agent is applied as a visible foam to carpets or other fabrics and the foam quickly disappears and dries and requires no vacuuming, abrasion or scrubbing.

  • Patent number: 4712737
Abstract: A container for an air freshener having a gabled top. Openings sealed with removable tape are provided in the carton to expose the contents to the air. The openings may also comprise reverse cut slots which expose the interior when the consumer presses on the slots. The gable top container is formed from a single ply of foil laminated lined paperboard. In the preferred embodiment a plurality of openings are formed in the paperboard and are covered by a release tape which can be removed to permit exposure of less than all of the openings depending on the amount of air freshener to be exposed to the atmosphere.
