    Abstract: A flange juncture of a wellhead is protected by first and second stainless steel clam shell closure members of substantially identical construction which are positioned over the flange juncture and welded by stainless steel welding procedures to preclude external access to the holding bolts of the flange juncture so as to prevent the unauthorized disconnection of the flange juncture and the theft of wellhead components attached thereto.
