  • Publication number: 20240294631
Abstract: The invention relates to an isolated immunoglobulin heavy chain polypeptide and an isolated immunoglobulin light chain polypeptide that bind to interleukin-33 (IL-33). The invention provides an IL-33-binding agent that comprises the aforementioned immunoglobulin heavy chain polypeptide and immunoglobulin light chain polypeptide. The invention also provides related vectors, compositions, and methods of using the IL-33-binding agent to treat a disorder in a mammal that is responsive to IL-33 inhibition.

  • Patent number: 4186611
Abstract: A pull-cord acting through a leverage and a linkage actuates the driving element of a 2 element clutch, the driven element containing a slot which is in driving engagement with the tongue of a TV tuner dial. The clutch and an actuating lever are attached to separate clamps which are vertically and rotatably attached to a column affixed to the table or to a plate on which the TV rests. A lever arm attached to the driving element of the clutch is connected by means of a linkage to the parallel arm of an L-shaped actuating lever. A pull on a pull-cord attached to a vertical arm of the actuating lever advances the tuner to the next adjacent channel.

  • Patent number: 4158329
Abstract: A drip coffee brewer for the brewing of a single serving of coffee consisting of a standard hot beverage cup, made of self-insulating material such as expanded polystyrene, with a portion of the bottom omitted or removed and with a cup-shaped capsule containing, integral with the bottom thereof, a raised filter-supporting grid of circular ridges, the troughs between which are connected to radial ducts leading to a central spout. The capsule, which contains a measured quantity of ground roasted coffee beans, has a perforated cover onto which boiling water is poured. The brewer is held firmly in a cup holder resting on the lip of a container. A plastic bulb is placed on top of the brewer and, when compressed, expedites the flow of water through the ground coffee beans. The capsule can be vacuum-sealed to preserve the freshness of the ground coffee. The capsule and brewing cup are disposable, the cost being less than the cost of filters for comparable brewers.

  • Patent number: 4108304
Abstract: This invention discloses an accumulation conveyor of the powered roller type, having a power-driven belt passing through a plurality of independent operating zones arranged in tandem along the length of the conveyor. The belt is held in contact with the driven rollers by resiliently-biased pressure rollers, the pressure rollers exerting at least sufficient pressure to maintain the belt in contact with the driven rollers. In each zone, additional pressure is applied to the pressure rollers to increase or decrease the pressure of the belt against the driven rollers. This pressure is applied by spring-biased roller cams actuated by linkages responsive to load-sensing means in a downstream zone and whereby the kinetic energy generated by the moving load is used to actuate the cams.
