    Abstract: A homogeneous blend of a concentrated aqueous solution of a durable press resin and a concentrated aqueous emulsion of a hydroxyl-endblocked polydimethylsiloxane was found to be storage-stable and to possess improved resistance to skin over during atmospheric exposure. The preparation of the homogeneous blend and its subsequent dilution with water comprises an improved method for preparing a textile-treating composition.
