  • Publication number: 20230131774
Abstract: A high voltage center break disconnect switch with two rotatable switch blades each operatively attached to a respective rotatable insulator for opening and closing the switch. A toggle locking drive assembly including a two-sided lever having three pivot points colinearly aligned thereon and two drive links each connected at one end thereof to one of the three pivot points. The two-sided lever connects at the third pivot point to a perpendicularly attached rotating shaft operatively connected to a drive pipe for opening and closing the switch. The drive links are each connected at the other end to a pivot point of a respective one of two levers each operatively mounted to one of the rotatable insulators. When the switch is in the closed position the five pivot points of the locking toggle drive assembly are aligned colinearly in a toggle lock position preventing the switch from unintended opening.

  • Publication number: 20220219476
Abstract: A transfer method utilizing partially cured radiation sensitive ink to transfer a onto a contoured or uneven surface area of a guitar body by a transfer method. Specifically, a transfer material has a surface that is printed with a radiation sensitive ink. The desired design may be printed to the surface and partially cured by exposing the radiation sensitive ink to appropriate radiation. Thereafter, the surface of the transfer material may be brought into facing engagement with the contoured surface of the guitar body such that the printed and partially cured design is disposed between the contoured surface and the transfer material. The design may be transferred to the contoured surface by, for example, application of pressure to an opposite side of the transfer material using a burnisher or the like. Once transferred, the design may be fully cured by exposing the now transferred radiation sensitive ink to appropriate radiation.

  • Patent number: 6276209
Abstract: A system and method of detecting anomalies and/or grain variations in a wooden member. At least one ultrasonic transmitter applies an ultrasound waveform into a surface of a wooden member so as to generate a multiplicity of ultrasonic waves including, e.g., longitudinal and shear ultrasonic waves. These ultrasonic waves are measured after propagation through the wooden member by at least one ultrasonic receiver disposed on the same surface of the wooden member. At least one ultrasonic receiver may also be placed opposite the ultrasonic transmitter so as to detect radial transmission of the longitudinal ultrasonic wave at a point across from the wooden member. The received ultrasonic waves are processed to determine anomalies and/or grain variations in the wooden member at positions of the wooden member between the ultrasonic transmitter and the ultrasonic receiver(s). The ultrasonic transmitters and receivers may be placed in rollers to facilitate high-speed, in-line processing of wooden members.
