  • Patent number: 5101957
Abstract: An indexing assembly designed for use in combination with a conveyor assembly which includes a feeding conveyor for pans, each of which has a plurality of receiving molds therein in which dough is delivered on a synchronized basis by a separate conveyor than the pan feeding conveyor. The subject indexing assembly is provided to properly orient and position the individual pans as well as the receiving molds therein into receiving relation to the quantities of dough, or other objects being delivered, in a predetermined and preferred indexed manner so as to eliminate waste of product or the delivery of the dough to a portion of the pan other than the receiving mold.

  • Patent number: 4731007
Abstract: A dough delivery or divider assembly having a plurality of ports integrally formed in a cylindrical dispensing structure and incorporating an external pressurizing structure wherein a negative pressure or vacuum is applied to the interior of each of the ports from an exterior location relative to the cylindrical surface in which the ports are formed. The vacuum is maintained within the ports until they are exposed to the supply dough within a supply hopper wherein the negative pressure aids forcing of the dough into the ports for transportation to a delivery site at which location the dough portions are removed from the ports.

  • Patent number: 4114752
Abstract: An all purpose indexing device primarily for interrupting the motion of baking pans on a continuously moving conveyor, the baking pans having spaced indentations therein, comprising a U-shaped index bar pivotally mounted to fixed portion of the conveyor frame having a central crosspiece disposed across the conveyor, at least two indexing fingers extending downwardly from the crosspiece toward the conveyor and engagable with the indentations of a baking pan. Air cylinders are connected between the U-shaped index bar and the fixed portion of the conveyor frame at points adjacent respective lateral ends of the index bar. A sensing rod is pivotally mounted to the conveyor frame and disposed parallel to the index bar. A sensing finger is connected adjacent the middle of the sensing rod and extends downwardly towards the conveyor.
