Publication number: 20200336075Abstract: Apparatus and methods for sensing resonant circuit signals to enhance control in a resonant converter are described herein. A buffer circuit coupled in parallel with or across a resonant component (e.g., a transformer) input port avails a buffered primary port signal for use in resonant conversion. The buffered primary port signal is a comprehensive signal including information relating to both input voltage and input power; and it may be used to advantageously enhance switching and power conversion in an inductor-inductor capacitor (LLC) converter. Additionally, the LLC converter uses a sense interface circuit to provide a scaled replica of the buffered primary port signal. In one example the scaled replica can advantageously be used with a secondary side controller to control output power based on the comprehensive information contained within the buffered primary port signal.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 7, 2020Publication date: October 22, 2020Applicant: POWER INTEGRATIONS, INC.Inventors: Robert J. Patent number: 10722961Abstract: A saw blade for use with a reciprocating saw includes a body and an attachment portion extending from the body. The attachment portion includes a tang and an aperture configured to connect to the reciprocating saw. The saw blade also includes a cutting portion formed on the body. The cutting portion includes a plurality of cutting teeth, and first and second floor guard teeth spaced apart and positioned adjacent at least one of the plurality of cutting teeth. Each cutting tooth has a tip that defines a plane. The body has a first height measured generally perpendicularly from a back edge of the body to the plane. The attachment portion has a second height measured generally perpendicular to the plane. A ratio of the first height to the second height is between approximately 4 and approximately 5. The first and second floor guard teeth extend beyond the plane.Type: GrantFiled: November 20, 2017Date of Patent: July 28, 2020Assignee: MILWAUKEE ELECTRIC TOOL CORPORATIONInventors: Austin J. Patent number: 10639732Abstract: A reciprocating saw blade includes a body having a first end portion, a second end portion, and a plunge point formed on the second end portion of the body. The plunge point includes a leading tooth and a leading gullet. The leading tooth includes a rake face and a tip. The leading gullet includes a base extending from the rake face of the leading tooth to the plurality of cutting teeth. The plunge point includes a second tooth protruding from the base of the leading gullet. The second tooth includes a tip positioned further from the base of the leading gullet than the tip of the second tooth in a direction transverse to a longitudinal axis of the body. The cutting portion also includes a plurality of gullets formed between a plurality of cutting teeth. The leading gullet is larger than each gullet of the plurality of gullets.Type: GrantFiled: October 12, 2018Date of Patent: May 5, 2020Assignee: Milwaukee Electric Tool CorporationInventors: Robert W.
