    Abstract: A tubular-frame rocking platform is provided with a wheeled platform. To the structure a resistance rod is selectively locked in a forward part of the chair and extends rearwardly through a rearward element of the chair and is provided with a spring and head. When the occupant pushes back to rock the chair backwards, he does so against the opposition of the spring. This done repeatedly has therapeutic value.

    Abstract: A foldable tubular rocking chair frame comprises an elongate generally open rectangular back unit having parallel long side elements and parallel upper and lower end elements, the long sides being interrupted by selectively foldable aligned hinges. The hinges include knuckle elements which permit 180.degree. folding, and folding in one direction only. The hinges, when the chair is erected, include a supporting sleeve which circumposes the interruption and prevents folding.

    Abstract: A sling extending from the upper end of the back of a tubular chair frame comes down in a seat portion and forward, is looped about the forward cross-piece of the frame and is doubled back under the seat portion. A separate elongate reinforcing web underlies the seat portion and is secured thereto in a non-shiftable position by woven fasteners to the underside of the seat portion. The double-back end of the sling is secured to the woven fastener on the underside of the reinforcing web, and the ends of the reinforcing web loop around the side elements of the frame and then are attached to each other under the seat portion with the desired amount of tension.
