Publication number: 20190274338Abstract: A simplified method of cooking salmon uses boiling water as it cools to cook the fish, includes the following steps: providing a frozen fillet of fish in a sealed bag; placing the bag in a container holding boiling water and simultaneously or immediately thereafter removing heat or an energy source; retaining the bag in the water for a period of time; removing the bag from the water; delaying removal of the fish from the bag for an additional period of time; then removing the fish from the bag for consumption. A kit includes the frozen fish fillet in the bag along with instructions to follow the method of cooking.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 10, 2017Publication date: September 12, 2019Inventors: Robert J. Patent number: 7216370Abstract: A series of vertically overlapping pockets is sewn onto an attachment panel which is sufficiently wide to be sewn into the trouser leg at the inseam and outseam. It is long enough to be seamed into the waistband at the top. When the attachment panel is sewn into the fabric of the trousers, the series of overlapping pockets is positioned at the knee. A foam kneepad is inserted into a selected pocket. Each pocket has a top closure such as a hook-and-loop fastener to hold the kneepad in place and close the top of the pocket. Using different pockets selectively positions the kneepads so that they protect both the knee and the adjacent shin.Type: GrantFiled: March 17, 2006Date of Patent: May 15, 2007Inventors: Robert J. Warner, Margaret A. Warner

Patent number: 6751804Abstract: A series of vertically overlapping pockets is attached to the fabric of the trousers adjacent the knee. The open ends of pairs of pockets face each other and a foam or other resilient kneepad is partially inserted through the open ends into a selected pair of facing pockets. Using different pairs of facing pockets selectively positions the kneepads on the trousers at selected vertical locations. The panels forming the pockets may be positioned on the inside or on the outside of the trousers adjacent the knee, and may be preassembled to form a separate structure for attachment to the trousers.Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 2003Date of Patent: June 22, 2004Inventors: Robert J. Patent number: 6421839Abstract: Pants which include at least one pant leg and a pocket in the area of the knee. Within each pocket is to be located a cushioning pad. The cushioning pad is to be inserted through an access opening which has a length smaller than the width of the knee pocket which tends to prevent accidental dislodgment of the pad from the knee pocket. A securement device is to be connectable between the pad and the pant leg of the work pant. The knee pocket may be covered by a covering sheet to hopefully prevent the forming of wear holes within the knee area of the work pant.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 2001Date of Patent: July 23, 2002Inventors: Danny Van Vo, Robert J. Patent number: 5651155Abstract: A support and attachment mechanism for a dock leveler lift bag. The dock leveler includes a supporting structure which is mounted in a pit in a loading dock and the rear end of a ramp is pivoted to the supporting structure so that the ramp is movable between a horizontal position and an upwardly inclined position. A bag support member is pivoted to the supporting structure and is located in the pit beneath the ramp. An inflatable bag assembly is located adjacent the rear end of the ramp and is positioned between the underside of the ramp and the bag support member. By inflating the bag assembly, the ramp can be pivoted from the horizontal to the upwardly inclined position. The bag assembly includes a rearwardly extending tether which is secured to the supporting structure and prevents the bag assembly from squeezing forwardly as the bag assembly is inflated.Type: GrantFiled: June 15, 1995Date of Patent: July 29, 1997Assignee: Kelley Company, Inc.Inventors: Charles Harwood Hodges, Robert J. Patent number: 5621938Abstract: An edge-of-dock leveler incorporating an inflatable lift bag. The leveler includes a frame mounted on the front face of the dock and the rear edge of a deck plate is hinged to the frame, while a lip is hinged to the forward edge of the deck plate. In the storage position, the deck plate is generally horizontal while the lip hangs downwardly in a pendant position. The frame includes a fixed pressure member and a movable pressure member is hinged to an edge of the fixed pressure member. A link interconnects the movable pressure member with the deck plate. An inflatable, flexible bag is located between the pressure members and by inflating the bag, the deck plate is pivoted from the horizontal position to the substantially vertical position. By deflating the bag, the deck plate will descend by gravity and the forward edge of the lip will move in a generally curved path into engagement with the bed of a truck parked in front of the loading dock.Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 1995Date of Patent: April 22, 1997Assignee: Kelley Company, Inc.Inventor: Robert J. Patent number: 5446938Abstract: An inflatable bag assembly for a dock leveler including a stack of superimposed bags which are joined together along contiguous surfaces. The interiors of the bags are connected to a suitable source of low pressure gas such as air. The stack of superimposed bags is positioned between a supporting surface on a loading dock and a ramp which is hinged to the dock and is movable between a horizontal position and an upwardly inclined position. By supplying air to the bag assembly, the bag assembly is inflated thereby moving the ramp from the horizontal to the upwardly inclined position.Type: GrantFiled: October 4, 1993Date of Patent: September 5, 1995Assignee: Kelley Company Inc.Inventors: Robert J. Patent number: 5249905Abstract: An automatic wheel chocking apparatus for restraining movement of a vehicle away from a loading dock during a loading operation. The apparatus comprises an elongated trough formed in the driveway that extends outwardly from the front face of the loading dock and a wheel chock is mounted in the trough for movement between a storage position, where the wheel chock is located beneath the level of a driveway, and an operative position where the chock extends upwardly above the driveway and is disposed to engage a wheel of a vehicle. The wheel chock is moved between the storage and operative positions by a drive mechanism that is located within the trough and includes a lead screw. A nut is threaded on the lead screw and is connected to the wheel chock via a rigid link. Rotation of the lead screw will move the chock between the storage and operative positions.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 1992Date of Patent: October 5, 1993Assignee: Kelley Company, Inc.Inventors: Robert J.
