  • Publication number: 20160113332
Abstract: Disclosed is a disposable bib having a collar portion, a chest portion, and a removable wipe portion located below the collar portion. The bib is in the form of a multi-layer panel having a top layer, a bottom layer and an intermediate layer disposed between the top and bottom layers. The top and bottom layers are each formed of a permeable non-woven material. The intermediate layer is absorbent, e.g., includes superabsorbent polymer particles and cellulose fibers. The collar portion includes a pair of tabs, e.g., VELCRO® fasteners, to enable the collar portion to be releasably secured around the neck of the wearer, with the chest portion disposed over the wearer's chest. The wipe portion is releasably secured to the bib so that it can be removed from the bib to be used to wipe the mouth of the wearer.

  • Patent number: 4956525
Abstract: An electrical insulating bushing and a method of fabrication with an electrical device having a cabinet with an outer wall and a bushing-receiving aperture in the wall. The bushing includes an elongated body surrounding a central conductor with an annular mounting flange at a mid portion of the insulator body. An interface collar is received in the aperture of the cabinet and is welded to the cabinet wall. Thereafter, the bushing is inserted in the interface collar and is joined thereto with an adhesive. A gasket ring is positioned between the bushing flange and the interface collar prior to the adhesive joinder thereof, so as to augment the fluid-tight seal therebetween.

  • Patent number: 4767351
Abstract: A bushing, having an elongated conductor substantially encased in insulating material, which extends in sealing relationship through an aperture in a sealed enclosure encasing an electrical apparatus, comprising a conductor having two parts, a first generally cylindrical rod part which is permanently fixed at its proximal end to the electrical apparatus and which extends therefrom toward the aperture, and a second sleeve part having a generally annular passage disposed to circumferentially engage substantially all of the first rod part and thereby provide a conductive path therebetween; a one-piece insulator permanently attached to and substantially encasing the sleeve part of the conductor; means for threadably connecting the two parts of the conductor such that connection and disconnection can be accomplished from outside the enclosure, thereby enabling disconnection of the sleeve part and the insulator from the electrical apparatus without opening the enclosure; and means for sealing the junction of the tw

  • Patent number: 4344672
Abstract: A truck mirror comprising a unitary housing having a back wall, side walls and top and bottom walls defining a generally rectangular opening. The side walls have inwardly extending spaced flanges. The bottom wall terminates short of the side walls so that a flat mirror can be inserted by sliding longitudinally upwardly through the spaced flanges toward the top wall. A top end cover member is interposed between the top edge of the mirror and the top wall and has end portions extending laterally behind the outermost flanges along the side walls. A bottom end cover is interposed between the bottom edge of the mirror and the bottom wall of said housing and has portions thereof extending upwardly along the outer face of the lower edge of the mirror. The bottom end cover also has portions thereof extending inwardly in overlying relation to the bottom wall of the housing.

  • Patent number: 4320385
Abstract: A rotating lamp comprising a lamp base and an electric motor mounted on the lamp base. The electric motor drives a hollow shaft on which the lamps are mounted. A conductive rod extends through the shaft and is electrically isolated from the shaft. The lamps which are mounted on the shaft are electrically interconnected between the rod and the shaft. The housing of the electric motor is electrically isolated from the base. Brush means provide electrical continuity between the power source and the rod. Additional brush means provide electrical continuity between the shaft and the base.
