Equipment is registered within a distributed register/ledger of a distributed trust network according to an equipment identifier and subsequently events related to the equipment are registered and managed within the distributed register/ledger during the usage lifetime. Such events include resource arrangement-related events and property-right-related events. In addition, logic may be included in the distributed register/leger that triggers various actions in response to the events.

Abstract: A computing device for predicting an expected loss for a set of claim transactions is provided. The computing device predicts, at a first machine learning model, a claim frequency of the set of claim transactions over a given time period and trained using historical frequency data and based on a segment type defining a type of claim, each type of segment having peril types. The computing device also predicts, at a second machine learning model, claim severity of the set of claim transactions during the given time period, the second machine learning model trained using historical severity data and based on the segment type and the corresponding peril types. The computing device then determines the expected loss for the set of claim transactions over the given time period by applying a product of prediction of the first machine learning model and the second machine learning model.

Abstract: An input device such as a stylus for providing input to a touch-sensitive surface with reduced sensitivity to leakage current variations over temperature is disclosed. A passive stylus may include one or more diodes in parallel with one or more bleed resistors. The non-linear load of the diode and resistor network can be operative to provide a stylus electric field in response to a stimulation signal from an electronic device that can be capacitively coupled to, and sensed by, the electronic device. The signal sensed by the electronic device can be a function of the total leakage current, which can vary greatly as a function of temperature and frequency. In order to improve performance, the diode and resistor network, including the bleed resistor(s) and diodes within that network, can be selected and/or designed to provide a reduced variation in the leakage current and more accurate stylus detection.

Abstract: The disclosed application relates to a tool by which a user may create a cloud workspace that includes a data memory space, as well as a tool for automatically identifying ad-hoc analyses on that data. The solution allows a user to connect to data sources using SQL or GUI tools, combine data from different data sources, prepare and clean the data, mine the data for insights, and move that data into downstream reporting tools for visualization.
