  • Publication number: 20070216095
Abstract: A single piece body foldable along hinges between a three-dimensional generally closed configuration and a generally rectangular two-dimensional configuration. The body includes a plurality of components. The components are foldably interconnected through lateral and longitudinal hinges. A display face is provided on one side of body. A number of separate permanent magnets are embedded within the body Some of permanent magnets are positioned to magnetically interengage one another when the body is in the three-dimensional generally closed configuration. Some or all of the permanent magnets serve to retain objects in various predetermined locations on the display face when the body is in the generally rectangular two-dimensional configuration. An object collector is provided for collecting magnet containing playing pieces from the display face. The object collector is designed to be grasped by a user and dragged across the display face to magnetically collect the playing pieces.

  • Publication number: 20070146784
Abstract: A method for utilizing a graphical user interface for concurrent programming of multiple feature operations to a single production job in a controller for a production system includes presenting options on the user interface for the selection of job properties or queue properties, with queue properties defined as default values for the virtual device to which the job will be submitted and job properties defined as job feature selection options. The job feature selection options may be hidden or displayed to enable the selection of valid job feature combinations only. Toggle controls are utilized for job feature options whose operation is limited by previously selected job feature options. The application of any valid combination of selected job feature options on the completed production job is illustrated on a dynamic graphic.

  • Publication number: 20070150539
Abstract: Source script (250, 260, 270) on multiple user portals is collaboratively manipulated by exchanging metadata (210) among the plurality of user portals to represent chosen segments of the source script. The metadata (210) contains properties (230-241) for the chosen segments of the source script. A common copy (250, 260, 270) of source script possessed among the plurality of user portals is initially identified. The source script, therefore, does not need to be transmitted among user portals during the collaboration because only the metadata for the common source script needs to be exchanged.

  • Patent number: 7123129
Abstract: A transponder has a resonant RLC circuit with one or more electromagnetic energy storage components that vary in response to an externally applied modulating energy field. In addition to the externally modulating energy field, a base station transmits a carrier signal with a frequency essentially the same as the quiescent resonant frequency of the RLC circuit. As the component(s) vary, the resonant frequency of the RLC circuit changes, modulating the carrier signal with the external modulating energy field. Effects of the modulation are detected by the base station. Information (e.g., the presence of a tag) is obtained by receiving and demodulating the modulated signal at the base station. One or more or the circuit elements (e.g, different preferred embodiments of one or more capacitors, inductors, and resistors) can be varied (e.g. mechanically) to modulate the carrier signal.

  • Publication number: 20060179012
Abstract: A computer program for estimating underground piping systems operates as a condensed spreadsheet having predetermined user-defined default values. A rough cost estimate is produced by the user making an original selection and then entering as few as two data columns, an item name and an item quantity. A single six-page report is generated having the first two pages displaying costs, the following three pages displaying backup data and the sixth page providing user comments. Eight items common to the field are categorized and appear in data sheets. Estimation formulas are substituted for large data tables. The program stores data input and/or updated by the user, interpolates or extrapolates for items not provided with specific criteria and provides user designated rounding factors and tax factors for calculating costs.
