Abstract: Methods and systems for generating and distributing data visualizations are provided. One method includes displaying a user interface including a canvas and a card builder toolset, the card builder toolset including a plurality of selectable options, each of the plurality of selectable options responsive to user input to present a definition screen including one or more card definition parameter input fields. The method further includes receiving user input into the one or more card definition parameter input fields for each of the plurality of selectable options and, in response, defining at least one aspect of a card to be included within a user dashboard presented on the canvas. The method also includes rendering a card within the canvas in accordance with parameters defined by the user input, the card being included within a dashboard to be displayed to users.

Abstract: Generally, the present disclosure relates to solving issues with inefficient management of data within an organization by building a central repository of events within the data ecosystem. The data event management system, disclosed herein, offers a platform agnostic ledger of the data ecosystem that enables data transparency and identifies patterns/bottlenecks to properly adjust to meeting the needs of the data consumer. With this information, data driven decisions can be made to prioritize workload and ensure funding is supporting the consumer prioritized assets.

The solution allows a user to connect to data sources using SQL or GUI tools, combine data from different data sources, prepare and clean the data, mine the data for insights, and move that data into downstream reporting tools for visualization. The system is linked to a code repository to allow data scientists to execute code from the code repository in trial data spaces, investigate that data, and prepare more in-depth analytics for downstream reporting tools.
