  • Publication number: 20240263455
Abstract: The top surface of an insert abuts with a form, with a tube extending into an aperture and sliding on a form post in the form. A rod inserted through the form, form post and tube holds the insert in place while castable material is poured in. The form is inverted with the guard rail base inside, the rod can be slid out of the form, and the form is removed. The handle is gripped by a claw on the obtuse angled chassis of a transporter. A handle on the chassis can be pushed to raise the guard rail base and to move the guard rail base on the surface by wheels. The guard rail base can be placed upon a pad having notches in its border.

  • Patent number: 10456608
Abstract: A safety apparatus (10) includes a weight pan (18) removably receiving a plurality of weights (W) pivotably mounted about a pan axis (A) between frame sides (12). Wheels are rotatably mounted to the first ends of the frame sides (12). An I-shaped main frame (40) is pivotably mounted to the frame about a first frame axis (J) generally perpendicular to the pan axis (A) and also a second frame axis (E) generally parallel to the pan axis (A). By pivoting the main frame (40) about the first frame axis (J), a steering function is provided to the frame. By pivoting the main frame (40) about the second frame axis (E), the frame is pivoted between an actuated position with the weight pan (18) resting upon a surface and a transport position with the weight pan (18) spaced from the surface and with the frame moveable on the surface (102).

  • Patent number: 10259652
Abstract: A debris disposal chute includes a plurality of tubes having rectangular cross sections of a decreasing size attached together. Flaccid members are connected between hangers pivotably mounted to a casing and the first tube and between the flaccid members of the upper tube and the next lower tube. The casing is pivotably mounted to a receptacle about an axis perpendicular to the hanger axis and the center line of the chute. A header is removably connected to the receptacle by attachment bars and includes a surface inclined towards the open entry. Weight basins are removably connected to the header by leverage connectors on opposite sides of the open entry and the attachment bars.

  • Publication number: 20160138338
Abstract: A bi-level work platform includes a landing vertically spaced from and cantilever supported above a U-shaped base. A folding platform is pivotally connected to the landing by a pivotal platform and by gas struts. The folding platform is pivotable between a storage condition within the maximum extent of the landing and the pivotal platform and an operating condition extending from and generally parallel to the landing. The base is movable by rollers at the free ends of legs of the U-shaped base and by retractable casters which are pivotally mounted to the U-shaped base. Removable fall protection is provided on the folding platform including removable flaccid members and is pivotally received between the guide rails of the landing in the storage condition.
