Abstract: A cooling device for coupling to an electronic device that provides for cooling of the electronic device. The cooling device includes an inner side with a plurality of projections for coupling to a corresponding side or portion of the electronic device. The cooling device includes side walls extending about at least a portion of the back portion and from the inner side. The side walls include an inner surface for coupling to sides or portions of the electronic device. The side walls include a plurality of cooling apertures therethrough, and cooling channels recessed in the second inner surface extending from each cooling aperture to at least the back portion. When the cooling device is coupled with the electronic device, the plurality of projections, cooling channels, and portions of the electronic device proximate thereto form a plurality of cooling pathways that extend between the plurality of cooling apertures.

Abstract: The invention is a chamber within the cover applied to an electronic device which, by way of its design, channels the flow of sound and re-directs the sound emanating from the speaker, or speakers, of the device. The design characteristics of this chamber may facilitate the flow and direction of sound, and may provide acoustical enhancement of the sound to the user of the electronic device, to which said cover has been applied.

Abstract: The invention is a vent within the cover of an electronic device through which air may flow freely by way of the structure of the design. Such flow of air is passive, in that it is not propelled by any mechanism, but flows by its own natural properties. The design characteristics of this vent may facilitate this flow of air, which may then provide the transfer of heated air through the cover and away from the electronic device.
