Abstract: A computerized system, comprising: manipulating a dial; interacting with software, wherein the dial is interactive with the software for sequentially viewing a plurality of files. Additionally, manipulation of the dial by rotation sequentially moves the plurality of files and further manipulation of the dial further increases the speed of file sequencing.

Abstract: A system and method for indicating suggested user responses is disclosed. The method includes loading an image into image-editing equipment. The method further includes determining a set of quality-related problems of the image using software. An animated icon is displayed in conjunction with the image, and indicates a suggested user response to one of the quality-related problems. Other embodiments may include matching a corrective function with one of said set of quality-related problems, and indicating the suggested user response in response to the matching. Further embodiments may perform the indicating by having the animated icon proffer a tool icon, or by performing a related editing to the animated icon. Finally, in other embodiments the method may include moving the animated icon to alternate image-editing equipment.

Abstract: The present invention generates a digital image geographical special interest guide. According to one aspect, digital images are processed and associated with a category on a geographical map. A digital image geographical special interest guide corresponding to a category is generated. The digital image geographical special interest guide containing the associated digital images is provided to a user. A digital image geographical special interest guide aids people in easily locating detailed information on any of the available categories.

Abstract: A method and system for automatically adding effects to still images are described. In one embodiment, a source image and a template are selected. Further, designated areas of the source image are automatically replaced with template image information, the template image information alters the source image to produce special effects. In an alternate embodiment, designated areas of the source image are automatically replaced with template image information, the template image information giving the appearance of animation of the source image. In another alternate embodiment, the selected areas of the source image are replaced with template image information to produce an animation image sequence, the template image information giving the appearance of animation of the source image.

Abstract: A content brokering system for a public submission content library facilitates the exchange digital content between a buyer and a seller. The content brokering system provides a searching function that allows a buyer to find content stored on the brokering system, or a seller to find a request for content posted on the brokering system by a buyer. The content brokering system also assists the negotiations between a buyer and seller through a financial function. The financial function further may handle all the financial arrangements for the sale or lease of the content between the parties.

Abstract: A three-dimensional image acquiring system includes a memory, first and second lens systems, a comparator, and an image file generator. The first lens system captures a first image of an object and the second lens system concurrently captures a second image of the object. The comparator compares the first and second images to determine differences between them. The image file generator generates a delta file based on the determined differences, and stores a three-dimensional image file that includes the delta file in the memory. A three-dimensional image viewing system reconstructs the second image from the first image and the delta file and presents the first and second images for viewing by a user.
