Abstract: An underwater acoustic source can include a first piston coupled to a second piston and a plurality of linear magnetic actuators directly connected to each of the first piston and the second piston. Each of the plurality of linear magnetic actuators include a linear shaft positioned within the cylindrical magnetic assembly and mounted to the first end of the rigid ferromagnetic housing and the second end of the rigid ferromagnetic housing, such that the linear shaft is stationary, and linear bearings positioned between the cylindrical magnet assembly and the linear shaft to allow the cylindrical magnet assembly to translate along the linear shaft relative to the cylindrical electrical coil, and wherein each of the plurality of linear magnetic actuators is activated, the first piston and the second piston oscillate towards and away from each other, causing acoustic waves to be generated in water.

Abstract: A system, a computer program, and a computerized method for the processing and completion of form documents. A form processing engine receives the form from the user. The form processing engine captures and stores an image of the form and extracts field metadata from the form, specifically each field on the form by name, type, and position. A form completion engine then renders the captured image of the form and generates a field overlay. The form completion engine populates the field overlay with user data as retrieved from a user information data store. The form completion engine may add additional objects and events to the form and invite the user to provide additional information. Completion of form documents is streamlined and largely or completely automated.

One aspect of one described method includes receiving a signal from a client processor, the signal includes information relating to a file and an action. The method also includes accessing a record in a database based at least in part on the information relating to a file, and determining whether to manipulate the record or the file stored on a separate processor based at least in part on the action, and updating the record or the file based at least in part on the information.

Abstract: A helicopter fire fighting system including a fluid holding vessel suspended from underside of the helicopter; and submersible high volume, low head axial flow pump mounted adjacent bottom of the holding vessel for drawing fluid from a fluid source and delivering the fluid into the holding vessel, the axial flow pump extends along a central axis between an open upper end and an opposite open lower end serving as an inlet for the axial flow pump.

Abstract: A system and method of supporting the provision of a wide variety of regulated services and products via a local and/or global communications network, is disclosed. Regulatory rules engines, which contains protocols on each jurisdiction's legal requirements applicable to the service/product transaction, implements protocols for making choice of law analyses, preemption analyses and hierarchical ranking of laws by stringency, in order to facilitate automated, real-time, multi-jurisdictional transaction processing over the network without violating the laws of any applicable jurisdiction.
