Abstract: There is disclosed a misting apparatus (10) for producing a mist from a pressurized liquid, comprising: a fan shaft (134) having a rotational axis (104); a rotary jet assembly (130) configured to drive the fan shaft (134) and comprising a radially extending arm (136) configured to convey the pressurized liquid to a jet nozzle (138), wherein the jet nozzle (138) is configured to eject the pressurized liquid in a jet to generate a jet reaction force having a tangential component; a fan 140 coupled to the fan shaft (134) for driving an airflow; and a spray nozzle (152) configured to eject the pressurized liquid into the airflow to produce a mist.

Abstract: A mobile power washer includes a heater module that is displaceable from an operative position, beneath a vented panel, to an access position enabling easy servicing or replacement of the module. The module includes a heater and a heat exchanger for heating water drawn from tanks for delivery at high pressure through a spray gun attached to a hose. A buffer tank is provided for retaining water heated by the heater for mixing with cold water from the tanks prior to further heating in the heat exchanger and delivery from the spray gun.
