  • Patent number: 11578624
Abstract: The present invention is related to a multiple-inlet turbine casing (16) for a turbine rotor (60) which comprises a first fluid supply channel (70) configured to direct a first working fluid onto the turbine rotor (60) and a second fluid supply channel (74) configured to direct a second working fluid to impart torque on the turbine rotor (60) in the same direction as the direction in which torque is imparted on the turbine rotor (60) by the first working fluid. The first working fluid is an exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine and the second fluid may be steam and the turbine may be an inverted-Brayton-cycle turbine for recovery of waste energy from the exhaust gas of said internal combustion engine. Thus, the number of turbine rotors is reduced in comparison to a system comprising a single turbine for each distinct working fluid.

  • Patent number: 11431826
Abstract: Computer networks for secure demand-driven file distribution are described. In one example, a client device receives a notification to check in for updates. In response, the client device checks in with a device services computing device on a computer network. The device services computing device determines a path list to certain cache computing devices on the computer network for receipt of the files, builds a markup file including the path list to the files, and transmits the markup file to the client device. The markup file can also include unique identifiers of the files and an encryption key for secure distribution of the files. Using the markup file, the client device can request the files, and the computer network is physically and logically arranged to distribute the files among the cache computing devices and to the client device in a secure and demand-driven manner.

  • Publication number: 20220193423
Abstract: An implantable pulse generator includes a housing component containing electrical circuitry for generating electrical pulses and a header component connected to the housing component. The header component is adapted to connect to one or more stimulation leads for applying the electrical pulses to the tissue of the patient. The header includes a locking member for an electrical terminal of the implantable pulse generator. The locking member includes a head, an elongate body portion adjacent the head and has a proximal section with a first diameter and a distal section having a second diameter. A transition section is between the proximal section and the distal section. The transition section smoothly transitions from the first diameter to the second diameter. • Publication number: 20220147717
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for natural language processing to extract and classify text, and automatically identify information about an entity or institution, are provided. One method may include monitoring, by a computing device, a public network, and automatically ingesting, from the network, content comprising text. The method may also include extracting the text from the content and passing the extracted text as input to a classification model, which processes the text to generate a semantic vector representation of the text and compares the generated semantic vector representation with previously labeled vectors. The method may then include determining a prediction on a meaning of the text based on the result of the comparing step or based on a similarity of the generated vector to other grouped labels of stored vectors, and outputting the prediction of the meaning of the text.
