  • Patent number: 11112905
Abstract: A sensor for use with vehicular components. The sensors may comprise transmitting and receiving antennas that can be interleaved or placed within the various materials throughout the vehicle so that interaction with the materials will provide information related to the use. Sensors may also infuse signal into an occupant within the vehicle via the material which can provide enhanced interactions with various vehicle features and components.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 24, 2020
Date of Patent: September 7, 2021
    Assignee: Tactual Labs Co.
Inventors: Robert Joseph Alack, Jr., Clifton Forlines, Darren Leigh, Braon Moseley, Adam Landa

  • Publication number: 20170371487
Abstract: A system and method for performing frame-phase synchronization on received frames of signal on a touch detector. An apparatus and method for synchronizing frames with the phase of one or more simultaneously transmitted signals on a touch detector. One or more row conductors and one or more column conductors are arranged such that the path of the row conductor(s) cross the path of the column conductor(s). A signal emitter simultaneously initiates transmission of orthogonal signals on each of the rows at each of a plurality of intervals starting at a first time, the orthogonal signals having a known initial phase. A receiver starts receiving frames on the column at each of the intervals, starting at a later time. A signal processor determines a measure of the extent to which each of the orthogonal signals are present within the received frameā€”and thus, the extent to which they were transmitted across the touch detector.
