  • Publication number: 20160286013
Abstract: A system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a method for managing stream metadata during high volume real-time data streams, are presented. In example embodiments, the method may include transmitting an initial data packet comprising metadata to subscribers at the beginning of a communication session. The method further includes periodically transmitting subsequent data packets comprising periodic data published by a publisher to the subscribers. Upon detection of a change in the metadata, an additional data packet comprising new metadata is transmitted to the subscribers.
