  • Publication number: 20150176343
Abstract: An isolator for a drill assembly that is mountable to a drill is presented. The isolator comprises an elongated outer member with an elongated inner member inserted within the outer member. An elastomer is interposed in the space between said inner member and said outer member. The isolator is connectable to a drill assembly at one end through the outer member and at the other end through the inner member. The isolator is capable of providing sound and vibration isolation when the drill assembly is mounted to a drill.

  • Publication number: 20140374168
Abstract: A chuck isolator for the chuck of a drill comprising a base plate mountable to the chuck, a drive plate connectable to a drill bit, and a first elastomeric member interposed between the base plate and the drive plate. The base plate and the drive plate are wider than the drill bit. The chuck isolator is connectable to the chuck of the drill and capable of providing sound and vibration isolation when the chuck isolator is connected to the drill.

  • Publication number: 20040108640
Abstract: An elastomeric bearing assembly including a concentric outer member operable for securely engaging a bore structure associated with a first structural member, wherein the concentric outer member is disposed substantially within the bore structure. The elastomeric bearing assembly also including a concentric inner member operable for securely engaging a pin structure associated with a second structural member, wherein the concentric inner member is disposed substantially within the concentric outer member. The elastomeric bearing assembly further including an elastomeric section disposed between the concentric inner member and the concentric outer member, wherein the elastomeric section is bonded to a surface of the inner member and a surface of the outer member, and wherein the elastomeric section is operable for accommodating axial, cocking, and torsion motions of the second structural member relative to the first structural member.
