  • Publication number: 20260067951
Abstract: An advertising device for performing a readvertising operation for wirelessly connecting with a plurality of connecting devices. The advertising device transmits an advertising signal for establishing connection with the plurality of connecting devices. In response, the advertising device receives a plurality of connection requests from the plurality of connecting devices and transmits a first connection response to the first discernable connection request that was received from a first connecting device of the plurality of connecting devices, thereby establishing a first wireless connection between the advertising device and the first connecting device. In response to establishing the first wireless connection, the advertising device retransmits the advertising signal to establish connection with the others of the plurality of connecting devices.

  • Publication number: 20260046950
Abstract: A method for pairing an operating device with a control device. The method includes initiating a learning mode of the operating device and receiving an identifier associated with the control device while in the learning mode. The method includes analyzing the received identifier against a reference value, where the reference value can be stored to the operating device or identified from a previous interaction with the control device. In response to the operating device determining that the received identifier satisfies the reference value, the method further includes the operating device pairing with the control device.

  • Publication number: 20240036529
Abstract: In one aspect, a method for using a remote control to train a trainable transmitter is provided. The method includes receiving a user input at a user interface of the remote control, broadcasting to a controllable device a first radio frequency communication via a first security protocol in response to receiving the user input at the user interface, the first communication including a first fixed code and a first changing code. The method further includes measuring a duration of the user input and broadcasting to the controllable device and the trainable transmitter a second radio frequency communication via a second security protocol different than the first security protocol in response to the measured duration of the user input satisfying a user input duration condition, the second radio frequency communication including the first fixed code and the first changing code.

  • Patent number: 11261648
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for detecting movable barrier disengagement are provided. A movable barrier operator system includes a motor configured to be coupled to a movable barrier and move the movable barrier, a motor sensor configured to measure a load value of the motor, communication circuitry configured to receive, from a remote control, a state change request to cause movement of the movable barrier, and a processor circuit. The processor circuit is configured to cause actuation of the motor in response to receipt of the state change request, detect, based on the load value, a disengagement between the motor and the movable barrier, and cause a communication to be sent, in response to detecting the disengagement, to a remote server, the communication indicative of motor disengagement.
