    Abstract: A modular storage system comprising one or more rails that are substantially horizontally attached to a support structure and one or more storage components that are coupled to one or more of the rails such that the storage components can be repositioned along the rails. The storage components may comprise a vertical partition, a cabinet, a drawer unit, a shelving unit, and the like. The storage component may be installed between sidewalls along with shelves, dowels, or other horizontal units. A top, bottom, and/or rear panel can also be coupled to the sidewalls and/or rails to make an enclosed unit. The storage components include a notch or recess to fit over the rails so that a back portion will fit flush with a surface of the support structure. Couplers can be adjusted to tighten and loosen the storage components to the rails for easy repositioning.

    Abstract: A suspended ceiling system including shaped beams coupled to connecting blocks that enable a variety of geometric configurations of tiles. The beams may appear to be structural members of an ornate fixed ceiling in a building, and may have any desirable cross sectional shape such as a V, a U, or other custom shape. The beams also include ledges for supporting tiles. The connecting blocks are suspended from the fixed ceiling or other structure and include a plurality of beam interface surfaces that couple to the beams. The connecting blocks may have any desirable cross sectional shape to provide a desired number and geometric arrangement of beam interface surfaces, so that the beams form a desired geometric configuration such as a triangle, square, a pentagon, a hexagon and the like. Tiles are cut to match the geometric configuration and placed on the ledges of the beams.

    Abstract: A modular space system comprising load bearing components designed with graphics software, manufactured with data from the graphics software, and assembled onto building frames. A user enters dimensions, materials, and other design parameters to generate a graphic rendition and prepare components. Load bearing walls, a floor, and a ceiling are assembled into a stand alone unit that can be attached to a building frame directly, such that the walls, floor, and/or ceiling are flush with, or naturally interface with other surfaces of the building, such as plasterboard walls. The unit can also be attached to the frames through an existing surface and/or to the existing surface. Interfaces between load bearing surfaces are precise, reducing the need for finish work, such as taping. The load bearing surfaces can support multi-position shelves, partitions, fixtures, etc. An opening is provided for walk-in or reach-in access to an interior of the modular space system.
