    Abstract: The invention relates to a warning system in a vehicle, such as a truck or a bus. In a vehicle, on the side which is remote from a driver's position there are warning means which are activated when the direction indicator is switched on on this side. These warning means give other road users an additional warning which differs from the standard direction indicators.
