  • Publication number: 20080166393
Abstract: An eye medication delivery system for treating an infected eye having a cornea and a conjunctiva, where the medication delivery system comprises a liquid medication applied directly to a surface of a contact lens and placing the contact lens onto the eye such that the liquid medication and the contact lens surface are proximate to the cornea and the conjunctiva. • Patent number: 5931321
Abstract: A crane structure for hoisting, holding and/or towing heavy loads is provided. The crane structure includes a frame, for example a wrecker truck chassis, a boom support assembly, and a pair of booms each having a first member pivotally mounted to the boom support assembly so that the first boom and the second boom are pivotal in parallel vertical planes. Each of the first boom and the second boom also has a fluid operable second member slidably received by the first member. A control system is in operative communication with the first boom, the second boom and a winch assembly to independently activate each second member to extend from and retract to its corresponding first member, to pivotally position each boom with respect to the frame, and to activate the winch assembly to retract and extend cables about free ends of the respective second members.

  • Patent number: 4993911
Abstract: A mobile crane is disclosed, particularly adapted for a towing truck, as including a boom which may be extended or retracted in length and angularly related for lifting and towing purposes by a pair of hydraulic rams, which are specifically oriented for their full extent of movement at an acute angle relative to the plane of the bed of the truck upon which the hydraulic rams are pivotally secured. Extension and retraction of the boom is provided by a hydraulic ram mounted within the boom and arranged when activated to extend the boom outwardly during the pick up of a load and the retraction prior to towing of the load. The boom is pivotally mounted on a mast structure which is braced against a pivot structure secured to the bed of the truck and to which the hydraulic rams are pivotally mounted.
