  • Patent number: 5269187
Abstract: An automotive straight line G-meter utilizes the input from a piezoresistive accelerometer to accurately measure and display both straight line forward and backward as well as lateral or side to side acceleration and deceleration of a vehicle. The automotive straight line G-meter includes solid state circuitry which temperature compensates and amplifies the transducer output before coupling to an analog meter that is calibrated to show the gravity effect of acceleration and deceleration of the vehicle. The G-meter device further includes circuitry for energizing an automotive tachometer that employs a LED (light emitting mode) bar graph to display the revolutions per minute (RPM) of the vehicle engine.

  • Patent number: 5188240
Abstract: A storage unit or rack for recording-media boxes such as CD boxes or other such containers which rack supports the boxes in a series of parallel substantially horizontal planes or in planes inclined at some other angle. The rack has one or more pairs of sidewalls lying in planes which intersect at right angles and which engage two adjacent side edges of each box and leave the other two side edges of each box facing outwardly and exposed so that they are visible for reading labels on the boxes and to provide easy access for placement and removal of such boxes.

  • Patent number: 4685387
Abstract: A machine for automatically producing a sandwich having a variety of fillers such as sliced meat, sliced cheese, shredded lettuce, and sliced pickles. A plurality of cannisters for storing the fillers are positioned above apertures formed in the base of the machine along a straight row. Dispensing means associated with each cannister permit selective removal of sandwich filler. A carriage having support means for carrying the sandwich facing, such as a submarine roll or Pullman bread, is mounted for reciprocation beneath the row(s) of apertures. As the carriage passes beneath selected apertures, sandwich filler is dispensed through the apertures onto the sandwich facing. Control means permit user selection of sandwich fillers and controls operation of the dispensing means and movement of the carriage beneath the apertures in accordance with user selection.
