A first portion of the first strap is coupled to a left side of the torso portion, and a second portion of the first strap engages the first strap adjustment member on the right side of the torso portion. The second strap adjustment member is coupled to the shell on the left side of the torso portion. A first portion of the second strap is coupled to the right side of the torso portion, and a second portion of the second strap engages the second strap adjustment member on the left side of the torso portion.

The air diffusion subsystem includes a plenum located between an upper portion and a lower portion of the foam liner, which can act as a pressure chamber to forcefully direct air onto the user's head. The air exhaust subsystem includes one or more exhaust ports that create a vacuum near the back of the helmet to draw large volumes of airflow through the helmet as it travels forward.
