  • Patent number: 5747885
Abstract: A central locking system for a motor vehicle which has a number of actuators, each of which has a signal transmitter unit which sends data signals to a control unit as a function of current condition parameters of a monitored opening of the motor vehicle or as a function of externally input command signals, and the control unit generates control signals from these data signals, and final control elements of the central locking system, which bring about the locking and unlocking of the opening of the motor vehicle, are triggered by these control signals. According to the present invention, each actuator of the central locking system has a separate control unit to which the data signals of the signal transmitter unit of its actuator, as well as selected data signals of the signal transmitter units of the other actuators of the central locking system are sent.

  • Patent number: 5680792
Abstract: A drive bearing for a windscreen wiper system wherein two actuator rods for actuating two wiper arms are driven by a motor crank. The two bearings are concentrically nested one within the other thereby allowing the driving forces of the two rods to extend in one plane. Other features include the association of the individual bearing elements to the actuator elements, and the design of the bearing faces.

  • Patent number: 5465631
Abstract: A system performing a conical transition from a shaft to the core diameter of a worm is disclosed. The disclosed system includes inserting a rough milling machine in an axial direction before a disk milling machine used for milling the worm. The rough milling machine is especially manufactured integrally with the disk milling machine. The teeth of the rough milling machine are shorter than the teeth on the disk milling machine, and the teeth of the rough milling machine preferably define a truncated-cone shaped covering.

  • Patent number: 5408897
Abstract: A bearing having to be assembled onto a shaft with a worm by passing over the worm where the diameter of the bearing section is larger than the outside diameter of the worm can be produced in a manner which saves material if not only the worm, but also the bearing section is non-cuttingly formed by rolling the basic material. It is possible to grind the bearing section at the outside, if necessary, and in an advantageous way, so that it is true to size and cylindrical.

  • Patent number: 5133221
Abstract: Pendulum gears for windshield wipers of motor vehicles are known, which pendulum gears comprise a first gear member provided with teeth, which gear member is non-rotatably seated on a driven shaft, and a second gear member provided with teeth, which gear member meshes with the first gear member, and by which the first gear member can be driven in pendulum motion between two reversing positions. The noises occurring in the reversing positions of the first gear member are to be reduced. For this purpose the tooth play between the teeth of the two gear members is decreased towards the reversing position of the first gear member. Thus a beating noise caused by the teeth when changing the tooth flanks is avoided.
