Patents by Inventor Robert Klinski

Robert Klinski has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Patent number: 6961386
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and a method for increasing the bandwidth in a line-connected multicarrier system, the characteristic properties, estimated by a channel estimator of a transmission channel being interpolated/extrapolated by an interpolating/extrapolating device. An equalizer device performs additional equalization of affected carriers in dependence on these interpolated/extrapolated properties, a bit loading device being adapted in dependence on the additional equalization. In this manner, further carriers are available for the data transmission which increases a bandwidth.

  • Publication number: 20050063499
Abstract: The invention relates to a data reception method, a data communication system, and to a receiver or transmitter/receiver device that is adapted to receive modulated transmission signals from a transmitter or an additional transmitter/receiver device via a transmission channel. Synchronization data is transmitted by means of the transmission signals which are used to synchronize the receiver device. The receiver or transmitter/receiver device is provided with an equalizer which equalizes the received or derived signals. The inventive method is further characterized in that the same transmission signals with which the synchronization data is transmitted are used to adjust the equalizer.
