The wheel hub unit comprises a pair of spaced driving sleeves (33) arranged in axial direction and the sides of the driving sleeves facing to a drum unit and being connected therewith to transmit of torque only. The driving sleeves are surrounded by intermediate sleeves (38) and a spacing is formed between them, wherein a ball bearing (35) and one of the freewheels are arranged so that they are connected both with the outer surface of the driving sleeve and the inner surface of the intermediate sleeve. The intermediate sleeves are connected rigidly together and they are also connected at least during the driving sessions to an outer sleeve (40) of the wheel hub unit.
