  • Patent number: 10406727
Abstract: A system for processing elastomeric load rings may include an elastomeric load ring defining an initial width. The system may also include a fixture assembly configured to receive the load ring between first and second clamp members. The second clamp member may be spaced apart from the first clamp member such that a gap is defined between the clamp members when the load ring defines the initial width. The fixture assembly may also include a load member configured to apply a compressive load through the first clamp member and/or the second clamp member such that the load ring is compressed between the clamp members. When the load ring is heated, a spring force of the load ring may be reduced as the load ring is compressed between the clamp members such that the initial width of the load ring is reduced to a final width.

  • Publication number: 20060029152
Abstract: A low-power digital communications transmitter (20) includes a programmable digital-processing circuit (22), which may be provided by a digital signal processor (DSP), a programmable direct digital synthesizer (DDS), and a constant-envelope, high power amplifier (32). The DDS (24) is programmed to provide pulse-shaping and IF/RF signal modulation functions. The digital-processing circuit (22) produces only one sample per unit interval (134) and is programmed so that the one sample per unit interval (134) is a frequency-profile index symbol (52?) produced from a I,Q baseband symbol (52?). The DDS (24) converts each frequency-profile index symbol (52?) into a frequency profile (130) that controls the frequency of a synthesizer (56) to induce modulation into a periodic output (68) of the synthesizer. Moreover, the frequency profile (130) is configured to confine spectral emissions within a spectral mask (140).

  • Publication number: 20050193011
Abstract: Methods, apparatus and systems coordinate reservation scheduling information of a reservation system with personal management/organizer application. A reservation coordinating module, preferably integrated with personal organizer application, is configured to provide a user with the ability to direct the creation, deletion, modification and viewing of reservations from the user's personal organizer application. The module communicates requests from a system on which the module is installed to the reservation system and receives responses therefrom. The module automates storing or modifying associated appointments in the data structure of the personal management application in conjunction with successful reservations creation/change operations communicated with the reservation system.

  • Patent number: 4037474
Abstract: A hopper into which loosened pieces of the paper collection are fed. A conveyor for transporting the loosened pieces of paper to a higher elevation. A fan for generating a stream of air to blow through the pieces of paper as they leave the conveyor at the higher elevation. A chamber into which the pieces of paper are gently floated by the stream of air generated by the fan. A vertical tube through which the pieces of paper can flutter downwardly due to the force of gravity. A divider separating the bottom of the vertical tube into a number of parts so that the pieces of paper which flutter down the tube can be separated into desired proportions.
